How to accept payments from credit or debit cards using Square?
I've been using Square with QBO and I need to accept payments from credit and debit cards.
Does anyone have experience with that?
In my opinion the Square import is bad.
Instead I use the Shogo integration instead ’cause it’s inexpensive and easy.

Go to Square Home.
Click ‘Deposit Summary’
Select the deposit you need to categorise.
Note Total Fees and either the Total Collected amounts (single account used for Square sales) or at the bottom, the total of credit card transactions with the same description (for multiple accounts used for Square sales)
In the bank feed, click on the Square deposit.
Enter your Total Collected or total of each transaction description into their appropriate accounts.
Enter Total Fees as a negative amount to appropriate fee expense account.
Click Save and Add.
Clients that use square don’t sync it because of the mess it creates with “square customers” and sales receipts.
I would recommend to do the following:
1. Log in to square.
2. Go to the deposits report.
3. Create a split deposit from your customer’s Bank Feed as they come in.
