Does anyone have experience with Xero’s app for Shopify? Would you recommend it?
I’ve had a good experience with it so far. It automatically pushes all my sales into Xero and saves my a lot of time. I don’t use it for inventory though.
Well, I think that it is basically a good product but it’s not completely finished. What I mean is that it does its job but has a few bugs and downsides.
For example, we couldn’t manage to export returning customer purchases, it takes a workaround to make it work and it’s time consuming.
I think it’s an essential app for businesses that run on Shopify and use Xero for accounting. We’ve had a few hiccups along the way but Alexa from their support team was always very helpful and solved our problems quite quickly.
Our business has been using the app for more than 2 years now.
I must say that our team is really disappointed with the app and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
We used the app for more than 10 months now so you can’t say we didn’t give it a fair chance.
The integration is quite sketchy and so it cost us a lot of time to check and fix all the wrong information. Can you imagine how much time it takes to go over thousands of invoices and fix all errors?? Not to mention the inventory errors.
