The smart ones already know they need accounting and the not-so-smart ones learn the hard way, when they suddenly can’t pay bills anymore or provide proper financial statements to get a loan, or pay penalties for missing tax deadlines, or have services cut off for bills not paid timely or just run their business into the ground since they have been running business blindly without accurate financial information to make proper business decisions.
